Meet Rashmi: one of our senior managers who will be driving the value proposition and growing the product & technology practice.
Before joining Palladium, Rashmi was part of Arup’s Strategy and Advisory team where she solved technology, strategy and data challenges for clients in the build environment.
Rashmi's work spanned business analysis and implementation for infrastructure focussed clients such as Network Rail, National Air Traffic Services, London Heathrow and Wave Energy Scotland. Further, Rashmi has provided high value strategy and product consulting for Cadent, Google, Amazon Web Services and Western Gateway Partnership.
In her spare time, Rashmi enjoys playing tennis, guitar and dancing. As well as reading, travelling, hiking and catching up with family and friends.
Tell us about you?
Born and raised in Bangalore, currently anchored in London. My professional background spans engineering in India, entrepreneurship in the Netherlands and consulting in the UK. I see myself as a Swiss army knife (or a global army knife let’s say!), tackling business problems of different dimensions across digital strategy, product and programme management.
What attracted you to Palladium?
The case studies that sat behind our fascinating website and the buzzing world of Private Equity! The opportunity to work alongside businesses that one interacts with as an everyday consumer is enticing! Further, the entrepreneurial outlook of our people, and my early discussions with Rich Klee and Mark Lewis gave me the clear go.
What will your new role be at Palladium?
My focus will be on driving the value proposition and growing the product & technology practice, along with Robin Matthews. I will own projects and work with our digital experts to deliver services across our due diligence, strategy and implementation verticals for PE clients.
Palladium is at an exciting growth stage, armed with a compelling long-term vision. I want to bring impact by making our product and technology practice best in class and drive value creation for private equity.
What do you hope to achieve at Palladium?
I am a driver and an integrator. Palladium is at an exciting growth stage, armed with a compelling long-term vision. I want to bring impact by making our product and technology practice best in class and drive value creation for private equity. I’m also excited about bringing our SaaS platform to the market.
What is your biggest achievement in your career to date?
My biggest professional achievement is a personal one. It was the decision to pursue my Master’s in Management of Technology at TU Delft in the Netherlands. It was the turning point in my career, a shift from being an engineer into a strategic business thinker and an avenue to interact with a global microcosm of similar minded cohort.
It exposed me to not just tech management but also entrepreneurship, philosophy, service design, graphics & animation, sports, arts, and a lot more – It expanded my world, threw me out of my comfort zone, and taught me to learn, grow and be resilient.
What do you like doing when you’re not in the office?
Tennis, guitar and dancing are a staple. I read a lot, take every excuse to travel, love escapes on long hikes into nature, and spend a lot of time catching up with friends and family across the globe.
